The work is a rocking chair with a fabric cover.

The cover lacks the weft, leaving only the warp visible. Light, creating a shadow on the wall behind the rocking chair, points out the fragility of the structure, simultaneously emphasizing both the thematic and concrete presence of absense in the piece.
