The work was based on three audiovisual elements: space, light and sound. It studied the importance of these elements in perceiving our environments, focusing especially on the subjective experience of each visitor.

A performative layer was added by combining the installation with three contemporary dance solos, each of which was created using the audiovisual space as an impuls for the movement.

Three Rooms was selected to be presented as part of the official programme of the Finnish National Department in the Prague Quadriennale (world's largest event of performance design and space)  in 2011.
