Salla Salin is a Finnish artist. With a special focus on space and themes related to concepts of reality, her work investigates the material and conceptual layers of existence and the (physical and mental) structures of being. Working both as a solo artist and in various collaborative projects Salin creates spaces and situations which often incorporate or balance between different (art) disciplines while offering the viewer an active role in the process.

Salin has graduated with an MA degree both in visual art (Aalto University, 2014) and performing arts (University of Art and Design Helsinki, 2005). Her work has been widely exhibited and performed in Finland and internationally.
