The work is about seeing the city from a new perspective. It deals with the ideas of power structures and territorial behaviorism of different species in urban space, taking advantage of the fact that with thousands of vertical shapes the city resembles a forest, just without actual trees.
These Things that are not Trees consists of birdhouses attached to signposts near a busy crossroads in the city.The location is chosen so that there are no real trees in sight.
