This series of works deals with the materiality of time and the imagining of possible futures. How is the concept of deep time reflected in our physical environments and becomes understood as part of different human contexts, how does our own existence relate to place?

World Volumes I–V was part of the Pieces of a Continent exhibition (created together with Timo Rissanen) exploring the limitations of space and place, which was on display at the Huuto gallery in Helsinki in 2021.
